Volunteering to Help
Kessler Neighbors United is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. The active participation and assistance of the residents of greater Kessler Park is essential to the on-going goals and objectives of the organization. Nothing is welcomed or appreciated more than when a neighbor steps forward and says, “I’d like to help with that project.”

Streetscapes Committee Planning for increased safety through additional sidewalks and historic lights
Holiday Lights Assisting with planning and implementation of Holiday Lights program and ceremony
Communications/Newsletter Writing articles of interest for KNU's newsletter and/or website
Neighborhood Annual Picnic Assist with planning and implementation of KNU's Annual Picnic
Crime Watch Assist with coordinating and communication KNU's Crime Watch program
Area Representative Program Serving as an Area Rep for one of KNU's 10 defined areas
Government Liaison Serve as a liaison between KNU and selected government projects affecting area
