Traffic Committee As with all Kessler Neighbors United committees, the Kessler Neighbors United Traffic Committee strives to improve the quality of life for Kessler Neighbors United residents   by identifying, monitoring and addressing traffic flow issues within the boundaries of KNU, and any peripheral traffic issues that would affect KNU residents. Issues range from speed limit observance, sign or traffic light observance, and planned or needed changes to the thoroughfare infrastructure. Some traffic issues impact driving safety, some impact neighborhood crime, and still others impact property values.

As residents of KNU, we travel our local roads frequently and are often better equipped to identify problems, potential problems, and possible resolutions than anyone else. The KNU Traffic Committee works with and local government groups that make traffic related decisions in and around our neighborhood. The KNU Traffic Committee works with other Oak Cliff neighborhood associations on traffic related issues to minimize the ripple affect that traffic changes in one neighborhood can have on adjoining neighborhoods. The KNU Traffic Committee also communicates to KNU residents  regarding upcoming traffic events that will impact their normal commute routes and schedules, like lane closures.
