The KNU Annual Picnic is an all volunteer event attended by approximately 150-200 residents and occurs the first Sunday in June from 4-7 P.M. at Roberts Forest on the Kessler Park United Methodist Church grounds ("Roberts Forest" is on Turner, two blocks north of Colorado Blvd.).

Since this is a "pot luck" supper, attendees are requested, if possible, to bring either a side dish or dessert to share. This culinary showcase is testament to the diverse backgrounds of our residents. As a special thank you, the KNU Neighborhood Association provides chicken and old fashioned hot dogs grilled on site as well as beverages.  Our neighbor Mike Lott is our "master grill'n chef."
Activities typically have included face painting, balloon art, children's games, and music. This is truly a multi-generational event and provides a casual setting for long time residents and newcomers to meet and mingle.
